NARM Coaching & Counseling
As a mental health coach and counselor, I specialize in supporting individuals to connect more deeply to their hearts, recognize and live from their potential, and meet life with a sense of freedom, fun, and flow.
My Journey...
Before stepping into this work, I had spent years as a researcher and lecturer in the field of ecological economics, studying the systems-level forces that shape our relationship with the natural world.
Over time, that outward focus turned inward. I came to see that many of the same unsustainable patterns I was analyzing in global systems, disconnection, fragmentation, and inertia, were mirrored in the human psyche. It became increasingly apparent how this played out in my own life and the lives of others.
In my own path of self-discovery, I came to see first-hand that lasting change is not a race towards solutions. Instead, real transformation happens when we slow down enough to notice and to trust the quiet, unshakable fullness that is already present within us.
My Approach
My approach primarily integrates the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) , a powerful framework for healing attachment, relational, and developmental trauma, alongside various forms of spiritual inquiry to foster deeper self-awareness and growth.
Drawing from years of inner work and study in developmental trauma, relational dynamics, and spiritual inquiry, I offer a heart-centered relational space to help you build a strong connection to yourself, cultivate resilience, and live from your innate capacity for joyful self-expression. Whether you're navigating grief, a personal transition, burnout, or the quiet sense that something more is possible, I'm here to walk alongside you.
My work is rooted in the belief that lasting change does not come from fixing what's "broken," but from remembering and reclaiming what is already whole within you.

I look forward to connecting!
“Working with Jeff showed me what compassion truly looks like. He holds space where feelings can flow freely, and his presence in those moments is deeply grounding...part of me was finally seen, it was such an incredibly beautiful and powerfully healing experience.”

FAQ
What is NARM?
The NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®) is an approach to working with the effects of complex and developmental trauma.
NARM addresses these impacts by focusing on the patterns of disconnection that form early in life and continue to shape our adult experiences. It integrates psychodynamic, somatic, and cognitive therapies with affective neuroscience and non-Western perspectives to support individuals in reconnecting with themselves, their bodies and emotions, and other people.
Rather than primarily focusing on traumatic events themselves, NARM works with the adaptive patterns and survival strategies people developed in response to early trauma, patterns that were once necessary but limit connection and well-being later in life.
Are you a licensed mental health professional?
No. I have not completed formal education or met any state or national licensure requirements in clinical psychotherapy, counseling, social work, or related fields.
I have nevertheless undergone formal training in different therapeutic and spiritual modalities. I completed the Level 2 NARM therapist training requirements in 2022 and am currently a registered student in an accredited psychotherapy program at the British School of Yoga (BSY). I therefore offer mental health “coaching,” rather than traditional therapy sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not currently accept any forms of insurance.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments can be made via Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or direct transfer. The payment details are always written on the invoice you receive from me. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are due within seven days from the moment you receive them.
